Sugar Bunraya Kosayothin, also known as just ‘Sugar’ was born in Bangkok, Thailand and has been tattooing for about 18 years.

He was 17 years old when he was introduced to the world of tattoos mostly through people, art, and magazines at the time.

In 2003, he created a hand made tattoo machine with a VCD electric motor and started tattooing his friend at home.

At 19, he decided to leave home and begin his journey in tattooing for friends and acquaitances at annual events and multiple studios including Satan Tattoo BKK (2003-2006), the Sex Tattoo BKK (2006-2013), V-Ink. (2017), and Little Art Tattoo (2018-2019) until eventually settling into Little Tokyo in February, 2020.

Known for his unique, vibrant, and bold style, his favourite imagery to tattoo is Japanese new school, dark side tattoo, and blackwork brush strokes.

With a background in pottery and sculpture, his hobbies also include paiting, Thai boxing, photography, motorcycles, and old school BMX.

After many years of experience, tattooing has taught Sugar to be mindful, calm, and focused.
